You can sign up our service for free!! All you need is a valid email.

1. Enter your email address in our home page and click "Sign Up" button.

2. You will receive a verification email. Open the email and cick the verification link.

3. You must create a password (and a confirm password) to login and use our service. Once password is created, user can enter email and passworld and click "Login" button.

After logging in, the main screen (with contact panel) would be shown.
Telemon is composed of 3 parts:

1. Toolbar (Header) - Logo (link to homepage), title, dark theme, day theme and panel specific buttons.

2. Main content - the center part of the screen, the main functional content of the panel.

3. Main Navigation Panel (Footer) - navigate to different panel. See below.

1. Chat - a panel that shows message received from other contacts. In website version, messages (text, image, audio, video) are not saved (since we cannot store the message in your browser). In mobile app version, messages are saved in your mobile device.

When you received a new message the new message counter would be added on top of the icon.

2. Contact - a panel that shows user contact list

3. Group - a panels that shows a list of chatroom including personal video chat (1-1), group message chatroom, video chatroom (private, game, business and educational)

4. Me - a panel that shows user profile. User can update profile info (name, description, profile Pic, phone number, profile emoji icon).
User can logout and deactivate user account.

1. Search. User can search and add contact by clicking the magnifying glass icon on upper right hand corner.


2. User can use the following info to search other contacts within Telemon:

a. User ID
b. Email (only educational type account from the same educational institute or business type account can be searched)
c. Name
d. Phone number

Tips** since name (most likely nickname) and phone number are not verified by our service, it would be easier if you ask your friend/contact to share their User ID, search using User ID, and add them to your contact list.

3. In the search result panel, when you found the right contact, click "Request" button next to add user to the contact list.

4. Requested contact can choose to - accept, reject, block requesting user.

In the "Group" panel, click the "+" icon button on the upper right hand corner.

User must fill out the info below:
1. Name of the chatroom
2. Type of the chatroom
3. video chatroom meeting time

Host:
- The creator of the chatroom.
- The super admin of this chatroom.
- Only host can delete the chatroom.
- Only host can revoke all admin rights from other participants.
- Only host can renew an expired chatroom. - Host can invite and assign other contacts as admin, presenter, or public participants.

Admin:
- can update the name, meeting time (and icon picture) of the chatroom.
- can assign other contacts as presenter.

Presenter:
- can assign other as presenter or public participants.
- can be the only one who can share their camera/screen (presentation mode), and all other video from other users would not be shown.

Public Participants:
- can invite other contacts as public participants

Video chatroom general rules:
- There is no limit on how many video chatroom a user can create.
- Chatroom can only be joined within 3 hours after the meeting time started. After that the chatroom is considered "expired".
- There is no limit on how long the video chat can last.
- If the user left the chatroom and want to join again but the 3 hours window had already passed, he/she would not be able to join again.
- Both admin and presenter can change the time of the video chat meeting time (before the meeting time started).
- User can only invite the participant in his/her contact list.
- Video chatroom will be removed if it is already expired for 30 days. However, user can renew an expired video chatroom before it is removed.

There are few types of Chatrooms:

1. Message - message chatroom. Can send text message, image, audio, video file

2. Private video chatroom. Multi-user real time video chat. User can invite other contacts to join.

3. Educational (video chatroom). (Currently this is the same as private video chat. In future release this would be searchable to the same educational institute as the host.)

4. Business (video chatroom). (Currently this is the same as private video chat. In future release this type of chatroom would be public and searchable by all other users.)

5. Game - video chatroom with game board. Users can create various real time multi-player games and invite other contacts to join.

6. Personal video chat. One to One (1-1) video chat. This type of chatroom cannot be created in the chatroom panel. User can click "Video Chat" button inside the contact detail to initiate personal video chat. User cannot invite additional contacts in this type of chat.

User can update profile info in this panel.

1. User ID. Cannot be updated. This is system generated unique id. You can copy the User ID by clicking the "clipboard" icon button.

2. Profile picture. Cannot be larger than 1MB.

3. Email. Cannot be updated.

4. Name (optional). We suggest you DON'T put your full real name here. Nickname would be good enough.

5. Description. (Optional) Something about yourself.

6. Phone number (optional). For reference and searching purpose only. We don't verify this phone number.
We suggest you to leave it blank unless you are using our service as business account.

7. Account type:
Personal - normal account, email address cannot be searched.
Educational - email address is searchable by the same educational institute having the same "(name of the institude).edu" domain.
Business - email address that is publicly searchable by other users.

8. Deactivation - in the update profile panel, click the "Deactivate" button and confirm the deactivation. Deactivated account can not be searched and shown in contact list.

9. Logout - please make sure you log out when you finished using our service, especially when you are using public computer or mobile device that belongs to someone else. (Closing the browser tab is not enough if you were playing a game and it is opened before.)

1. User can initiate a chat with other contact by clicking the "Send Message" button in the contact detail panel.

2. Chatroom panel would be shown. User can send text message by typing the text (500 characters maximum), click the arrow button (or enter) to send.

3. Click the "+" button on the lower left hand corner, the additional message function panel would be shown.

4. User can send pic from album (device pictures), take a pic from camera, record an audio, or take a video and send it to the contact, if the device is capable of perform such action (require camera and microphone).

5. The device would prompt you allow permission for using your camera, speaker whichever is applicable. Please allow the website to access those hardware.

6. User can select picture form the device album.

Telemon Live Game is a real-time multi-players gaming platform. You and your friends can enjoy playing many famous board games in real time together.

*Telemon is not a gambling website. The games in telemon.live is for entertainment purpose only and does not involve any physical or digital currency (no cryptocurrency).
User can set any score to play for any games for free.

1. First user can create a game type video chatroom and open the detail panel.

2. Click "Game Board" to open the gameboard panel. Click "Create Game" button.

3. The game creation panel shows up, these are some of the general game info:

a. Game Type - currently we have "BlackJack", "Texas Holdem" and "Mahjong". (We hope to put up more board games such as chess, go, reversi in the near future)

b. Base Score - the starting score each player has.

c. No. players - number of players the game must have to start. 0 means no limit (black jack can have up to 50 users playing at the same time)

Texas holdem must have minimum of 2 players and maximum of 8 players.

Mahjong must have minimum 2 players and maximum of 4 players.

d. No. Round - number of round. 0 means no limit. If the number of round is reached game is over.

4. After the game is created. User who wish to play the game can click the "Join" button to join the game. Sicne the host of the game does not have to be the player.

5. Click "Play" button to play the game. On website version, a new browser tab would be pop up. If you browser is set to not allow pop up. Please enable it for Telemon.

6. User can start playing the game. When player is out of score, player cannot continue the game and it is over.

7. Player can leave the game and come back to join when the round is over.

8. Other user cannot join the game if that round is not finished by other players.

9. Any users in the chatroom can watch the game as audience by clicking the "watch" button in game board panel.
Certainly, audience cannot see what the players' cards (or mahjong tiles) are, just like in real life.

10. The games in this website are popular games thus we won't include any instruction unless they are not obvious.

11. For "Mahjong", try to change the mobile device rotation to landscape mode for better viewing experience (if you have a device with small screen).

1. Dark Theme - user can switch the website color theme to dark theme by clicking the "Moon" icon button on upper right hand corner.



2. Day Theme - user can switch the website back to day theme by clicking the "Sun" icon button on the upper right hand corner.
